✅ Must Haves:

  • Strong background in coded welding

  • Skilled in stainless steel

  • Experience with radiographic & ultrasonic tested welds

  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings

  • Confident welding in the 2G position

  • Competent in:

    • GMAW

    • FCAW

    • GTAW (TIG)

  • High standard of accuracy, workmanship & safety


⏰ Hours:

Mon–Wed: 07:00–16:45
Thurs: 07:00–16:15

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

  • Coded welding of sub-assemblies and high-integrity components

  • Working to engineering drawings & welding procedures

  • Achieving excellent results in NDT testing

  • Delivering work within planned hours & deadlines

  • Maintaining first-time quality and strong safety standards

  • Supporting wider departments in fabrication/assembly

  • Completing traceability paperwork accurately


💪 Core Skills & Experience:

  • Coded welding background

  • Stainless steel welding

  • Radiographic & UT tested welds

  • Pipe welding & open root welding

  • Weld purging

  • MIG / TIG / FCAW

  • Heavy engineering / fabrication background


✨ Desirable Extras:

  • Experience with Inconel

  • Familiarity with MMA or SAW

  • Lean manufacturing experience (advantage but not essential)
